Chadstone Campus Years 11-12

Our Chadstone Campus caters for senior secondary students in Years 11–12 who need more than a mainstream pathway can provide. As part of Berengarra, a private alternative high school in Melbourne, we offer a flexible, supportive setting where students with ADHD, autism, anxiety, trauma, or those who have become disengaged from learning can complete their senior years with confidence.

Curriculum:
Students can study the Victorian Pathways Certificate (VPC) or the VCE Vocational Major (VM), both designed as practical, applied learning programs that integrate real-world skills with academic achievement. Delivered over three years (with an option for two), this flexible structure allows students to complete their Year 12 schooling at their own pace.

Future Pathways:
Graduates from Chadstone Campus progress to further education, traineeships, apprenticeships, and meaningful employment. With small classes, personalised learning, and a dedicated wellbeing team, students receive the academic, social, and emotional support they need to move forward successfully.

Pathways to Further Study or Employment

An important element of both the VPC and VM certificates is to develop Industry Specific Skills (ISS), and students are required to complete a Vocational Education and Training (VET) course. A VET certificate is evidence of the student’s competence in a chosen vocation.

At Berengarra School, our students develop Industry Specific Skills and complete VET certificates onsite. The school provides the opportunity, within our school program, to complete VET certificates in Community Services and in Retail. Students are also able to gain valuable work experience in our community market program and/or at our school run café, ‘CafEducation’. Our VET Teachers and Café Manager offer a safe and supportive environment for our students to learn and achieve success.

Class sizes are small, with up to 12 students working with a Teacher and an Education Support staff member, supported by a dedicated Wellbeing Team.
